The Three longings of every human:

  • to be seen
  • to be heard
  • to be known

When these are given and “completed,” we would say we “feel” loved. Any individual who is seen, heard and known, most likely feels loved, safe and hopeful. The greatest lie and arrow of deception, is that we do not “have” any of these.

The lie and deception ultimately finds its deepest resting place around God. We consciously or subconsciously believe for a moment or extended time, that God, our Creator—does not see, hear and know us.

Our environment and relationships on earth often attempt to confirm or deny our sense of being known by our Creator. They are continuous moving pieces that facilitate our feeling of acceptance and approval. And here lies the sensitive waters…

There is no greater Truth and reality to believe, accept and swallow, then that “our Creator knows us.” Not only does He know us, He knows us more intimately than any human, relationship, web search or man-made profile could even comprehend.

The Psalmist, King David, says we were known before our physical birth. We were known, created, thought of and designed—before any physical evidence of us. Like Adam, Creator God knew him, thought of him and designed him, before Adam’s physical formation.

The only satisfying and fulfilling substance that can quench the void our torn soul has created, is Creator God. Abba Father. Yahweh. Holy Spirit. All three in one. Most of (my) our pursuits in life center around these three, am I seen, heard and known?

I have never felt more known in my 35 years of living than encountering God. His manifest Presence and Glory. In these moments and “times,” my entire being and consciousness felt raptured by Love. An experience and conciousness of peace, joy and safety that is barely describable.

The Scriptures and the Holy Bible that contain them, all point to humanity being known. Known by the God and Creator of the Universe. Known by the embodiment and source of Love itself, Perfect Love. “In Him, we exist and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)

The only answer and satisfaction of the three greatest desires is found in Abba Father, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit—three in One. And every creation of God, whether human beings, the earth and the galaxies, present an opportunity to tap into this reality. The reality of the knowing and known Creator.

We find ourself found in Him. We are seen, heard and known—in Him. Our starting spot is completely unhindered “known” by Abba. From that spot, we turn around through and around our own illusions, to know Him. We look beyond ourself but also inside of ourself, to be found in Him.

Pain, deception, hell itself—cannot keep us from His knowing of us. It’s a settled Truth and reality completely independent of these. By His grace and love, we turn toward Abba in those very spaces.
